A Review of Marriott Hotels in Singapore
Towards the end of my time as a travelling management consultant I spent about 4 months working in Singapore, living out of hotels. I decided to use the time to explore some of Singapore's glamorous Marriott offering and I'm here today to share my experience.

JWS Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach (Booking link)
5 ★ | ~US$360/ night
I stayed here for so long it became like a home.
The highlights:
The beautiful sky garden and infinity pool overlooking Marina Bay
The breakfast spread including traditional Singaporean offerings like Roti Prata and even Ice cream (!)
The generous and delicious lounge food and drinks, and the beautiful staff
Very well located for both sightseeing and access to the business district
The lowlights:
Really, there are none
Elite benefits
A beautiful executive lounge offering breakfast, canapés and drinks
If you prefer, you can have breakfast at the hotel restaurant instead (or both the lounge and restaurant if you're extra hungry)
Wonderful attention to detail including celebratory cakes, drinks and fruit in your room
The St. Regis Singapore (Booking link)
5 ★ | 4 ★ Forbes guide | ~US$520/ night
I stayed here for a few weeks despite the distance to my office. Old school glamour
The highlights:
The a la carte breakfast offering including an Epicurean omelette with lobster
The touches of old school luxury
The in-room butler offering free hot drinks, shoe shine, clothes pressing and other perks
Well located on Orchard road for tourists and shopping
The lowlights:
The lack of lounge was a little disappointing but made up with the breakfast and drinks offered
Elite benefits
No lounge but you get free drinks in the hotel's 1920s inspired bar which offers wonderful live music in the evenings
W Singapore - Sentosa Cove (Booking link)
5 ★ | Recommended Forbes guide | ~US$800/ night
I gave myself a staycation at Sentosa one weekend - it was well deserved and absolutely beautiful
The highlights:
The one of a kind decor including in-room mood lighting
The huge pool, floaties and water slide
The lowlights:
If you're trying to escape families and children, this is not the place
Elite benefits
Free breakfast and free-flowing evening drinks and snacks
The Westin Singapore (Booking link)
5 ★ | ~US$450/ night
I stayed here when I first arrived in Singapore before deciding to ditch the corporate hotel vibe.
The highlights:
Very well located for business travellers
A bathroom tub with a magnificent view of Singapore city
The lowlights:
Very much a 'business district' hotel so I wouldn't pick this first for leisure travel
Elite benefits
Decent free breakfast in the hotel restaurant or the executive lounge
An executive lounge with canapés
