In London
1. Mulberry bush (Southbank): Beautiful exterior, warm, homely interior and amazing gravy (4.5/5)
Greater London
1. Blue check (Wembley): Very much a local pub, but with a tasty roast and good value. Also gave us free dessert (4/5)
2. The White Horse (Wembley): Upmarket pub, adorable booths, good for a nice afternoon out (4/5)
2. Pig & Butcher (Islington): The most hyped Sunday roast - bookings are required about 2 months in advance. The food was good but waiting 2 months leads to high expectations (definitely difficult to meet). The potatoes are excellent (crispy on the outside). (3.5/5)
Outside London
1. The Fleece (Cirencester): beautiful pub, historic and beautiful seating. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding and drinks (4.5/5)
